Meet Fig! Fig’s motto is play hard, cuddle harder. He is the perfect mix of puppy energy and couch potato. If you’re looking for a cuddle bug, this is your dog. He’s going to win a big place in your heart in no time.

Fig is recovering from a non-contagious form of mange, so it’s currently a mystery as to what he will look like when he gets older – a fun thing to watch unfold! So far, we know he is a terrier that will have tan and black fur considering the fur growth he’s had since being in our care.

He does wonderfully with other dogs, but it would probably be best to go to a home without cats. He is not aggressive towards them, but he loves a chase, which resident cats would not appreciate. Fig is still working on housebreaking. He understands that he should go to the bathroom outside, but he has not yet figured out how to ask to go out. Nothing some consistent training won’t fix! Fig is not very food motivated, but responds very well to attention and affection after doing something right.
