Hi, my name is Hope and I am a diamond in the “ruff”. I am one of the rescues from the Broadway, VA situation and am still finding my footing. My foster mom says I am doing well given everything, and as sweet as can be. I monitor her shadow for her wherever she goes, but am still a bit shy about approaching her. She makes me stay in my crate when she leaves, and although I don’t really like it, I will settle right down. For whatever reason she gets insanely happy when I go potty outside, which I have consistently done since my first night here. According to her, I need to work on my socialization and leash skills, and to leave her cats alone. I find them fascinating but get a bit jealous and snippy when they get attention. Don’t they know I am the queen of this castle and I deserve all the attention! What I really want is a couch of my own, someone to cuddle against, and someone’s shadow to guard. With some time and patience, I will be the best doggie you could ever have.
