Since you’re reading this, you’re obviously looking for a new best friend – and, hey, so am I! I don’t care who you are or what you look like, but in case those things matter to you, I’m approximately 8 months old and that’s me in the picture. My perfect match would be someone who loves feeding me all kinds of snacks and goodies. So, what do you say? Wanna be besties?

Meet Heidi! A 1 year old Coonhound mix. Hedi came to the shelter when her owner was no longer able to care for her. Heidi is looking for a new family that can help teach her how to be more confident and some basic leash walking skills. Heidi has lived her whole life outdoors, so there’s many new things to teach this girl! No doubt, with a little bit of patience and some yummy treats, Heidi will blossom into the social butterfly she’s meant to be! If you’re interested in meeting Heidi, fill out an adoption application and come meet with her today!

Arya is a 9-year-old, 53-pound beagle/border collie mix surrendered to us when her owners could no longer care for her. Arya loves to snuggle and knows how to sit, stay, lay down, roll over, and come when called! She LOVES to play tug of war, to play with Kongs, and to go on car rides. Come meet Awesome Arya today!

Ruger is an 87-pound, adult (7 years old) Plott Hound that was brought to us when his owner could no longer afford to care for him. Ruger is a loving and laid-back gentleman. He was an outside farm dog all of his life but is now looking for his perfect retirement home where he can lounge around on a couch watching the History Channel.

Ruger has gotten along with a dog before, but due to his tendency to guard food from other dogs, we recommend he be the only pet. If you are interested in Ruger, come visit him today!
