Brandy

Meet Brandy! Brandy is a 6 year old, Shepherd/Border collie mix. Brandy was surrendered to the shelter when her owners were moving and couldn’t take her with them. She had lived with her previous family ever since she was a young pup. Brandy LOVES to be brushed and enjoys all of the pets she can get! Shes a little nervous being out in the world now and may take some time to adjust to new environments and make new friends while on the search for her forever family. Ducky

He spent his life outside on a chain, but he has done well adjusting to leash-walking and socializing with people. Sometimes when he is excited he will jump because he just can’t hold it in! (from Foster) Introducing Mr. Ducky, a loveable, energetic, and goofy hound dog. Ducky is comfortable spending the workday napping away in his crate and is 90% house trained with the occasional accident. He has been learning to play with toys on his own but loves to play with other dogs and people. Ducky has the squishiest face and will cuddle up with you on the couch in the evenings. He is dog friendly and loves to chase cats up trees. He walks decently on a leash but will try to chase small fluffy animals if they cross his path. Loves walks, fluffy toys, cuddles, treats, and puzzle toys. Duck is always available for any zoom meeting appearances and will be the hit of the meeting.

Buddy

Buddy is a 100 pound, 1 year old Shepherd, Anatolian mix. He was surrendered to the shelter due to not getting along with the other pets in the home. Buddy can gets along better with dogs similar in size to him but has a bit of a prey drive when it comes to animals much smaller then him. Buddy is a timid guy at first but quickly shakes off and shows you his goofy and loving side! Buddy enjoys going on walks and staying close to the people he’s most comfortable with, He’s quite the gentlemen on a leash and isn’t in a rush to get anywhere. Momo

Meet Momo, a four-year-old pitbull mix with a heart of gold! She is a sweet girl who can be a bit timid at first. It can take her a minute to get comfortable and trust someone new, but you can see in her eyes that she just wants to be loved. Momo’s perfect day would be to sit outside on a sunny afternoon or to take a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood. Momo may take some time to warm up to new canine friends, so she would do best in a home that understands her need for patience and slow introductions to other dogs. Meet Dixie! Dixie is a 1-year-old, Blue Heeler mix. She was surrendered to the shelter by her owners due to a change in their lifestyle. Buster

Buster is a large(61lbs) adult 4 years old) hound that was brought to us along with his sister due to a familial situation. Buster is a loud mouth, snow loving, wild child that enjoys howling at the moon and getting pets until he kicks his legs. Buster enjoys chasing cats and livestock so he would do best in a home without either. He has lived with children in his previous home and was said to do great with them.

Buster has gotten along with several other dogs while in our care but would prefer a meet and greet before going home with his potential best friend.

Buster has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, a tick borne diseases that may have symptoms such as lameness, low appetite, and fatigue to name a few. Consulting with a veterinarian upon adoption about the best treatment options is highly recommended.

Silo

Silo is a sweet younger girl looking for a loving home that can give her time to adjust to know that she is safe and loved. She came to us as an owner surrender with a litter of puppies. She is more-familiar with life outdoors so will likely need training to experience leashes and crates. She can sometimes be scared of new things at first, but once she’s comfortable, she is the biggest cuddle bug! Ruger

Ruger is an 87-pound, adult (7 years old) Plott Hound that was brought to us when his owner could no longer afford to care for him. Ruger is a loving and laid-back gentleman. He was an outside farm dog all of his life but is now looking for his perfect retirement home where he can lounge around on a couch watching the History Channel.

Ruger has gotten along with a dog before, but due to his tendency to guard food from other dogs, we recommend he be the only pet. If you are interested in Ruger, come visit him today!

Zorrino

Zorrino is a very smart, active dog who loves to play hard and cuddle harder. He loves interacting and playing with his people, but he also knows how to keep himself occupied and he will entertain himself. He’s a rough and tumble kind of guy – loves running around, hiking, wrestling with other dogs and working on new tricks. He’s looking for an active family who loves adventure, long runs or walks, and space for him to get his zoomies out!
Zorrino is very toy motivated and has been learning lots of tricks with tennis balls or soft toys as a reward. He does need a more experienced home, ideally one without young children due to Zorrino not knowing how big he is and thinking everyone can handle his body slams!
