Hi! I’m Boots! A laid-back cat that’s a bit of a mama’s girl. My mom, E.I, and me have been together through thick and thin so we do a good job of comforting one another. I might not be quite as brave as my mom, but as long as I’m handled gently, I love to cuddle and play. I’m open to having new feline siblings, and I even get along with some of the smaller humans if they can be gentle and considerate. So why not adopt us? We’ve got double the love to give with half the fuss! All we need is a forever home and loving family.

I’m a sweet dog that recently came into the care of the Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA. I’m still getting settled in so a little nervous when meeting new people. I need a special family that can provide for my ongoing medical needs. I had pancreatitis and had to be switched to a prescription low fat food. My bloodwork came back normal and the kind people here tell me that I can go home with a family that can make sure I visit a vet regularly, stay on my special diet and definitely don’t get any human food. Oh, and I need to loose some weight but that’s not a big deal as I like going for walks and being active.

I’m worth the extra attention, come in and see me. Staff here can share my medical records with you so you can discuss with your vet to make sure everyone is ready for me to come home.
