Tama went missing from the New Market Safety Rest Area South on Interstate 81 South at mile marker 262. She had gotten loose from her carrier and bolted into the tree line. The cat went missing with no forms of identification.

The following notes were given about the cat: “small for her age, white around eyes and mouth, 2 small light blotches on her back, almost looks bleached, yellow/rust colored. Indoor lap cat. Frightens easily. Will only drink from a juice glass or dripping faucet. Meow sounds more like a chirp.”
