You may have already seen me before now because I think I’m kind of famous. The RHSPCA did a story on me to raise funds for the Have a Heart Fund which paid for my surgery!
I was hit by a car last December. It was bad, like really bad. My leg broke and my foot was dangling off. I thought I was going to die. But then a good Samaritan found me and brought me to the RHSPCA. Thank goodness!
I’ll spare you the details (they’re in my famous video) and get to the good part:
I’ve been living with an amazing foster family. It’s Brian, Tammy, Cooper and Annie. Brian and Tammy are humans. Brian’s the boss and Tammy the best! Cooper’s like an older brother even though we’re the same age. But he knows a whole lot more stuff than I do, he’s a border collie. Annie’s a cattle dog so she’s a little smaller than me and she’s my partner in crime.
I get along great with my family. Since I was so badly hurt and had to be kept from jumping around I’ve not had a chance to meet a whole lot of new people until recently. We’ve been making up for lost time but I don’t have the best of manners. I still pull on the leash a little. I’m a little bit scared of strangers but am getting really good at making friends. I do throw tantrums and rip stuff up when I don’t get my way. Oh, and I also don’t always have yummy bones and stuff.
I do get along really well with dogs and humans. I’m not so sure about young kids but I know that I can’t live with them. Who can, right? I LOVE car rides, learning new things and exploring new places. Remember, I’m still kind of a puppy and need to learn some manners. Mostly how to walk nicely on a leash, to not be scared of new people and to not be naughty.
I’m ready for my new home. It’s been real with the family home but there’s other dogs they need to help too. If you’re interested in seeing if we’re a fit, submit an adoption application. Brian and Tammy will take a look at it and get in touch if we think it might be a good fit!
