Meet Kira, she’s 4 years old, calm and independent. Kira is a little timid in the shelter environment, or around strangers. But, she is very friendly and enjoys pets, she also has the sweetest meow when she talks to you. She has lived in a home previously with another cat, and a dog. Kira tolerates cats but is frightened by dogs. She is also unable to defend herself against dogs, due to her being declawed, so would do best in a home without dogs. She would prefer a calm or low energy cat if she is going to a home with other pets. Kira has also been around kids, but seemed to avoid them, however older kids would be best suited for her if there will be children present in her new home.
