Shasta

Are you ready to add a social butterfly to your family? Shasta is a one-year-old Shepherd/Retriever mix who is energetic and outgoing. She enjoys being outside where she can explore and tire herself out! Her ideal home would provide an outlet for her excitability and curiosity. She’s still working on her leash manners, and sometimes she gets so happy to meet people that she can’t help but jump up to greet them! Shasta is very smart and picks up on training and tricks quickly, especially if there are treats involved. If you need an exercise buddy who can run hard and nap hard, Shasta just might be the match for you. Visit the shelter and meet her today!

Nellie

Nellie is a sweet pup who loves her people and adventures! She likes to spend most of her day playing with toys (especially tug of war), cuddling, and napping. She especially loves going on long walks, being outside, or going in the car! She does well on the leash, in a crate, and when left alone, and she’s also house broken. She’s looking for a home that can give her lots of love and belly rubs!

Zoey

Looking for a loyal protector? Zoey is your girl! She is very treat-motivated (making her a perfect candidate for work with a trainer!) and is a master at sit. She aims to please! Zoey wants a home where she can play and know she is forever-loved in the same way she shares her love for you. Make an appointment to meet Zoey today to see if your home is the perfect fit!

Buster

Buster is a large(61lbs) adult 4 years old) hound that was brought to us along with his sister due to a familial situation. Buster is a loud mouth, snow loving, wild child that enjoys howling at the moon and getting pets until he kicks his legs. Buster enjoys chasing cats and livestock so he would do best in a home without either. He has lived with children in his previous home and was said to do great with them.

Buster has gotten along with several other dogs while in our care but would prefer a meet and greet before going home with his potential best friend.

Buster has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, a tick borne diseases that may have symptoms such as lameness, low appetite, and fatigue to name a few. Consulting with a veterinarian upon adoption about the best treatment options is highly recommended.

If you are interested in Buster, submit an adoption application and visit him today!

Silo

Silo is a sweet younger girl looking for a loving home that can give her time to adjust to know that she is safe and loved. She came to us as an owner surrender with a litter of puppies. She is more-familiar with life outdoors so will likely need training to experience leashes and crates. She can sometimes be scared of new things at first, but once she’s comfortable, she is the biggest cuddle bug! Since arriving at the shelter she has become more acclimated to the environment and is more confident with new experiences. Come to the shelter to meet sweet Silo today!

Ruger

Ruger is an 87-pound, adult (7 years old) Plott Hound that was brought to us when his owner could no longer afford to care for him. Ruger is a loving and laid-back gentleman. He was an outside farm dog all of his life but is now looking for his perfect retirement home where he can lounge around on a couch watching the History Channel.

Ruger has gotten along with a dog before, but due to his tendency to guard food from other dogs, we recommend he be the only pet. If you are interested in Ruger, come visit him today!

*For the month of November in honor of National Senior Pet Month, Ruger’s adoption fee is only $7!

Zorrino

Zorrino is a very smart, active dog who loves to play hard and cuddle harder. He loves interacting and playing with his people, but he also knows how to keep himself occupied and he will entertain himself. He’s a rough and tumble kind of guy – loves running around, hiking, wrestling with other dogs and working on new tricks. He’s looking for an active family who loves adventure, long runs or walks, an space for him to get his zoomies out!
Zorrino is very toy motivated and has been learning lots of tricks with tennis balls or soft toys as a reward. He does need a more experienced home, ideally one without young children due to Zorrino not knowing how big he is and thinking everyone can handle his body slams! Zorrino is looking for his forever home to share all his love and craziness with and we know he’ll be a great addition to the right family! Come by the shelter today to meet Zorrino!
